Why hello quarter life crisis, fancy meeting you here

It's commencement time again which means this year's seniors are packing up their rooms for good and getting ready to enter the world as real people.
The lucky ones have jobs lined up and a set five-year plan. To those people, all I have to say is best of luck and I can't help but hate you.
Though I have enjoyed my time at Marietta College, I must say that the prospect of graduating terrifies me.
It's not that I don't have ideas about what I would like to do with my life, it's just that I have yet to find a highly-paid position in puppy sitting.
It probably doesn't help that I will graduate with a broad range degree in English. The vast amount of options that this degree allows is nice, but it has been difficult to narrow my interests.
I do feel that the professors I have had throughout the last four years have improved my writing immeasurably. However, after my long-term relationship with writing it might be nice to have a break to work out my feelings.
I'm sure I am not alone in my anxiety of finally being an adult. To get some ideas for a potential first job, check out the top ten companies that are hiring recent graduates.
