The seniors are graduating, and with them go the memories of what Marietta College was like four years ago.

The campus has undergone some major changes during the past four years. Perhaps the largest is the Legacy Library. During the fall of 2004, the Class of 2009 nervously walked on to campus as freshmen. There was a solid, albeit old, Dawes Memorial Library.

They were able to enjoy it for two years until it was torn down. In the fall of 2007, the beginning of their junior year, there was a hole in the middle of campus and books were moved to the top of Mills Hall. Then, as the second semester of their senior year began, they finally had a new library on campus.

The construction of the Anderson Hancock Planetarium was another radical change on campus. The Class of 2009 has only had limited use of this new addition. However, they will have the privilege of being the class that has the dedication ceremony during their commencement weekend.

Finally, there has been the addition of some majors and changes made to others. Middle Childhood Education and Music Education have entered the curriculum, and The Radio and Television major has changed to Broadcasting.
