Lafayette Hotel continues its 12 years of comedic tradition

Laughter is known to be scientifically, medically, and socially good for your health. It is also said to be addictive, along with smiles. So why not indulge in the Lafayette hotels comedy club for some good health and stress relief.
The comedy club has been a trademark of the Lafayette Hotel for twelve years now, and every Saturday from November till March the Lafayette features a new rising comedic talent. Guests pack themselves in the lounge of the Lafayette to indulge in drinks, food, and great entertainment. Last weeks show featured Ken Mathias of Texas, with headliner Todd Justice who also hails from Texas.
The price for comedy club is $10 and includes an hour and a half of laughter among friends. This week the Lafayette will feature Patt Duffy from New York as the opening act and Mike Dambra, also from New York, for the headlining comic.
The event starts at 9 p.m. and typically ends around 10:30 p.m., so if you are looking for something to do early in the night or an appetizer for a long evening out, the comedy club has something to offer. The venue in the bar offers a clear and calming view of the great Ohio River, and also features a full bar for the duration of the night, with a snack worthy menu available until 8:45 p.m.
