Dr. Vickers was my adviser when I came to Marietta College. At the time, I was scared to have the dean of students as my adviser. I thought, "What if I get in trouble? Would I get kicked out if I stole fruit from Gilman?"

When my roommate and I were sick about a month ago, the most productive part of our week was crawling out of bed to trudge down to the health center. On the way back, we felt that it may not have been so productive after all.
Students catching the flu bug have complained about their experiences at the health center.…

The end of the calendar year is always a time for traditions, and that holds true at Marietta College as well. The annual Late Night Breakfast will take place this Sunday, Dec. 6 from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. at Gilman.
But home and family traditions always sit closer to people's hearts, and Marietta College students are more than willing to reminisce about holiday happenings and what awaits them at home once the semester ends and finals are finished.…

The clock struck midnight, and the entire theater roared. Finally, we would be able to view the opening showing of "New Moon," the second movie in the Twilight series. I was able to partake in this momentous occasion after snagging a last-minute ticket.
Now, let me tell you, I have always been a Twilight fan, yet I was not impressed with the first movie.…

Now that Thanksgiving is over, it seems like everyone is getting in the Christmas spirit, and rock legend Bob Dylan is no exception. He released his latest CD, a compilation of fifteen classic Christmas songs redone with a personal touch.
While at times it can be kind of weird to hear a raspy, harsh voice singing classic Christmas songs that many of us grew up listening to, Dylan does an incredible job on many of the songs.…
